Armed Security Officer

Location: Dallas/Arlington, TX
Company: VETS Securing America (VSA)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Position Overview

VETS Securing America is seeking a professional, dependable Armed Security Officer for a government account in the Dallas/Arlington area. Candidates must possess a valid Texas Level III (Commissioned) Security License and have prior armed security experience.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Level III Armed Security License (Commissioned License)
• Minimum 2 years of armed security experience
• Own duty firearm
• Level II hard-shell firearm holster
• Minimum of 3 magazines with hollow-point ammunition
• Smith & Wesson-style handcuffs with key
• One approved non-lethal defensive tool
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• Strong communication and professionalism
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Military or law enforcement background
• Healthcare security experience
• Customer service experience
• Comfortable working alongside law enforcement personnel

Additional Information

All duty gear must be inspected and approved by company leadership prior to use.
