Role Description The Commercial Lines Account Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Auburndale, FL, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role manages a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing proactive service, coverage reviews, and ongoing account stewardship. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quotes and proposals, processing policy changes, handling renewals, and coordinating with carriers to secure competitive terms and resolve issues. The Account Executive will advise clients on risk management strategies, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely and accurate documentation in agency systems. The role also involves supporting producers with new business opportunities, participating in cross-selling initiatives, and contributing to a collaborative team environment aligned with “The Mulling Way.”\n
Qualifications

• Client-focused Account Management skills, including relationship building, portfolio management, and proactive service delivery.
\n
• Insurance knowledge and experience with commercial lines coverage, underwriting fundamentals, and risk assessment.
\n
• Sales and Sales Operations abilities, including prospecting, proposal development, and pipeline follow-up.
\n
• Sales Management or leadership capabilities to support growth initiatives and collaborate effectively with producers and team members.
\n
• Relevant state Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
\n
• Prior experience in an independent insurance agency or commercial lines environment is strongly preferred.
\n
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and organizational discipline.
\n
• Comfort with agency management systems and common office software; ability to learn new tools quickly.
\n
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to client service consistent with Mulling Insurance Agency’s values.
